Do you have a fall bucket list this year? I find that the seasons are so busy lately as my kids get older that if we don't carve out some time for family fun - poof! - it's gone!  One of our favorite fall activities is a trip to Robinette's Apple Orchard. I used to go there as a kid and now my kids have grown up going each fall as well.  One trip usually isn't enough as they have the most amazing cider and donuts and apples and caramel apples... well you get the picture, and a walk through the orchards or the corn maze is always pretty fun too!

Here are a few other things on my bucket list for this fall:

1) Visit an apple orchard - check!
2) Load the porch up with pumpkins and mums - check!
3) Head to Frederik Meijer Gardens to see all the pumpkins and mums - check!
4) Make caramel apples at home.
5) Buy candy corn. - need to get on this one!
6) Bake an apple pie. - one of my favorite yearly traditions that I had to skip last year when our kitchen was being remodeled.
7) Take pictures of all.the.leaves. - hopefully coming soon!
8) Carve pumpkins. - sadly, we haven't done this in years, our kids just aren't interested!
9) Load up on candy for adorable trick or treaters! (and proceed to eat it all myself)
10) Read by the fire with a glass of warm (maybe spiked!) cider!

Also, on my bucket list? Loading up on all the cute cold-weather gear at Old Navy right now!  I've got a good head start with this cozy hat, sweater and vest.  I can never have enough of these cozy scarves, these frayed hem jeans are amazing, I love this coat and I'm ready to start stock-piling flannel.  Who's with me?
